I’m Adam, and I am the creator of BasementAthlete.com. I’m 23 years and live in West Chester, PA with my wife Jackie and son Charlie. We currently live in a large, joy filled home with my family. Jackie and I are excitedly awaiting our second child, due on New Years Day. I am proud to say that our children are the fifth generation in a heritage of profound loyalty to all New England sports teams.
I love my wife. She is truly my best friend, and brings me more joy than I can express. The last three years since I met her have been the happiest of my life.
My family has pictures of my dad with me on his lap, watching a Red Sox game the day I came home from the hospital. We still treasure every chance we get to watch a game together. My Grandma and Grandpa Shorey had 34 grandkids, not one of whom support any team except the Red Sox, Patriots, or Celtics. We were all thrilled that Grandpa finally got to see his beloved team win the World Series in 2004 at 81 years old.
One of the reasons I have always loved sports is because it’s one more thing that brings my family together. I hope to share some of that with you.

Good Morning Adam,
Was given your name regarding a project I am working on for Paul Motta of the DCCC Baseball program. We are hosting a get together for him May 1 following the final home game of the season, his son Matt asked that I get in touch with you. Please contact me and I can help fill in the blanks.
Thanks.
